American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting role in the short-lived drama The Ex List. In the very first season she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira and in the second season she played Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She voices various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when she and her mother moved to California. lived for a year before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to become interested in singing, acting and photography when she was 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue her acting career.
